Learning and Practicing on the Security Screening Machine Production Line

In the past two weeks, I had the opportunity to visit the production line of security screening machines for in-depth learning. This experience gave me a deeper understanding of the machine's structure, working principles, and production process.

First acquaintance with the security machine

Security screening machines are no strangers to me; I come into contact with them almost every day. However, I only knew their appearance before this study. Through this experience, I gained an in-depth understanding of the machine's internal components and how they function. The workers meticulously assembled the transmission boards and adjusted the radiation sources while explaining various precautions to me in detail. I believe it is their rigorous and meticulous attitude, along with their tireless inspections, that ensures the stability and safety of the security machines.

In-depth to practice

After a week of study and observation, I gained a basic understanding of the security machine's workflow, as well as the names and functions of its components. I was eager to assemble it myself, thinking I had learned enough. However, when I actually tried, I realized I was overconfident. I didn't know how to tighten the screws or where to connect the different colored wires. My knowledge of the product was still superficial, and I didn't fully understand its underlying principles.

Gains and insights

Overall, this week's experience on the production line benefited me greatly. I learned that learning is a long-term process, and the journey is challenging. Through this experience, I gained a deeper understanding of the rigor of the manufacturing industry and the spirit of excellence.
