From May 8 to May 20, 2018, Shanghai Eastimage successfully participated in the SOFEX2018 Jordan Defense and Armed Police Exhibition. SOFEX, which began in 1996, has grown to one of the four major defense shows in the Middle East. The exhibition was held every two years and received strong support from Jordanian King, Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Armed Forces, Joint Special Operations Command, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Jordan.
A total of 350 exhibitors from 35 countries and regions attended the exhibition, attracting more than 400 high-level military representatives from 53 national and over 10,000 professional visitors. Jordan King Abdullah II, the commander-in-chief of the Jordanian Armed Forces, the Chinese ambassador to Jordan, China Snow Leopard and the Sky Sword Commando all visited the exhibition and paid a special visit to the International Pavilion where Chinese exhibitors are located.
The Chinese ambassador to Jordan Mr. Pan Weifang visited the Eastimage booth. After understanding of the development of Eastimage in the field of security, the ambassador felt pleased that more and more Chinese private enterprises have the strength to stand in the international arena. And encouraged Eastimage to adhere to technological innovation and to expand its international market more forcefully.
During the exhibition, Eastimage comprehensively demonstrated the company's strength and luggage inspection machines, metal detect doors, hazardous liquid detectors, explosive detectors, and vehicle detectors through a series of means such as printouts and video broadcasts. Eastimage people received close to 100 guests with professional attitude and full spirit. Many customers expressed their strong willingness to cooperate.
The successful participation in this event effectively increased the influence of the Eastimage brand in the Middle East market. Eastimage will adhere to technological innovation and actively expand the international market.
