Eastimage successfully won the bid for the procurement and installation of security inspection equipment for Hefei Rail Transit Line 5 (South Section)

    In August 2017, Shanghai Eastimage successfully won the bid for the security inspection project of Hefei Rail Transit Line 2. In the process of project implementation and service, it won the recognition of Hefei Rail Transit related departments with high-quality equipment and services, which also laid a foundation for future cooperation;

    In June 2019, Shanghai Eastimage once again successfully won the bid for the Hefei Rail Transit Security Inspection System Procurement Project and was awarded the supplier of the Hefei Metro Line 3 security inspection system;

    In September 2020, Eastimage successfully won the bid for the procurement and installation of security inspection equipment for the Hefei Rail Transit Line 5 project (south section) with its mature security inspection solutions and project implementation experience.

    On September 1, the southern section of Line 5, which started construction for 1,200 days, was officially put into operation without load. According to the plan, the southern section of Hefei Metro Line 5 will achieve initial operation within this year. There will be a total of 20 stations, namely Guiyang Road Station and Guiyang Road Station. Chengdu Road Station, Sichuan Road Station, Huizhou Avenue Station, Yungu Road Station, Huashan Road Station, Baohe Avenue Station, Dujiang Battle Memorial Station, Hangzhou Road Station, Zhongshan Road Station, Ziyun Road Station, Yangzijiang Road Station, Yellow River Road Station, Huayuan Avenue Station, Dalian Road Station, Beijing Road Station, Ningxia Road Station, Luzhou Avenue Station, Hefei South Station, Qimen Road Station. Among them, Hefei South Station is the shared hall floor of Lines 1, 3, and 5. Since Lines 1, 2 have already set up 4 security checkpoints, Line 5 has an additional security checkpoint; Yungu Road Station is shared by Lines 1, 5, two security checkpoints have been set up on Line 1, and two additional security checkpoints have been set up on Line 5. Other stations have set up two security checkpoints.

    Hefei Rail Transit Line 5 connects important passenger distribution areas such as Binhu New District, Provincial Administrative Center, Baohe Industrial Park, and high-speed railway station area. It is an important part of the skeleton line network in Hefei's rail network planning. During peak passenger flow, if the security check is not done properly, it is easy to cause congestion in the subway station hall. To this end, Eastimage provided approximately 39 sets of large and medium-sized dual-view security inspection equipment to escort the safe operation of Line 5.
