The EI-3500M is a set of automatic monitoring system for radioactive materials with large volume and high sensitivity gamma-ray
detector. It can make real-time and online detection for the vehicles (automobile or train) through the detection channel, find traces of the radioactive materials, output the alarm information of over-limit radiation automatically, and complete storage of test data. At the
same time, the system can also be networked with higher level management system, which constitutes a remote real-time detection
information system platform. The system can be used in imports and exports channels of various places to detect whether vehicles and containers contain radioactive materials.

Technical Parameter
★Application areas :customs , ports, docks ,airports , etc.
★Detector Configuration 1 : two or four sets of plastic scintillators + double low-noise photomultipliers, each crystal with the sensitive volume of 25, 30, 50 or 60 L. Add 5 mm of lead (five sides) to block out the interference of the background on measurement. Neutron detector is available;
★Detector Configuration 2 :four or eight sets of NaI (Tl) scintillators + low-noise photomultipliers, each scintillator with the sensitive volume of 2 L. Add 10 mm of lead (five sides) to block out the interference of the background on measurement. Neutron detector is available.
★Detection of γ and X rays :energy range of 25 keV ~ 3 Mev;
★Signal processing unit of controller:32-bit embedded ARM9 processor, can be used to enquire the system state and information on site;
★Sensitivity:under the background level of 0.2 μSv/h, add 0.1 μSv/h, and sound the alarm of radiation within 1 s; ★Detection probability:≥ 99.9% (confidence coefficient: 95%);
★False alarm rate :≤ 0.01%
★Coverage of detection: height--0.1 ~ 4.5 m; width: max. 5 m; ★Standard passing speed: 8 km/h
★Alarm:sound and light alarms (to distinguish radiation alarm from over-speed alarm), with the alarm threshold value adjustable, can be connected to the remote backstage management computer and are equipped with the special backstage management software;
★Recognition of naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM)
★The backstage management computer system can record the passing and alarm data, take a snapshot, print the report automatically, and network with the higher level management department. The automatic identification software for plate number and container umber is optional.
